Many people use the expression “where does the time go?” or “time passes so fast”. In reality, time always goes by at the same speed. It is our perception of time that changes.
We have so little control over everyday occurrences. As we rush from one activity to the next, we forget to center ourselves. Taking a 5 minute break each day to just breath allows me to connect with my soul and block out all the exterior noise. It is kind of like recharging my battery. I am then more available for my family and the small everyday stressors do not affect me in the same way.
