We were fortunate to have a children’s gardening project not too far from our home. My daughter was always interested in farming and gardening, so she was signed up immediately. It was hard work at first, but when the garden began to grow and prosper, she was very excited. The best day was harvest day where she was able to pick all the herbs and vegetables she had been responsible for. So she was the first person to teach me about herb gardening. After that summer, we always kept a small part of the garden for our herbs. We now have lavender, basil, mint, oregano, chives, parsley, sage and thyme.
We love our herbs
