There is a number of things that all of us can do to protect ourselves from catching the flu including
1. Practising Good Hygiene- This includes washing your hands regularly with warm water and soap to wash away the germs and minimising how much you touch your mouth and nose. Also making sure to cover your mouth whilst coughing and sneezing.
2. Get a flu shot- This is especially important for the young and the older population as well as people with a compromised immune system.
3. Eat a balanced diet-This will ensure that your body is in top shape to fight off infection.
