The day after I accepted this challenge I dropped by my friend Roya’s to give her a cooking pot she lent to me. She asked me in for tea. I had so much to do that day, and was busy, but I was cold, it was about -15 so I said yes I’d love a cup of tea. 10 minutes later, settled in her cozy kitchen we started to chat. It had been at least a month since we had had had a chance for a tete a tete. The last time we were working together and encouraging one another in a new system of organization. It may sound boring but when you are an artist trying to juggle two daughters each, an artistic career, a household without servants and time for your husband….well, you need a good scheme and a friend to help you follow it. it was a much needed pause from the busy day and I left rejuvenated and energized by our time together. Even a 1/2 an hour can make a difference if you truly connect with your friend.
