Savings

On our walk to church every Sunday my Dad would talk. Most of the time he was very quiet. One walk he talked about working and making money. He said that whenever you get money you should save ten per cent or more. I started babysitting very young 12 or so. I joined the Credit Union which my father volunteered his time. My family did not have a lot of money with 9 children. Sometimes I was able to help when we were short of money. He was a very good man and whenever I worked I saved. To this day I am able to live well on little . But his experience of sharing loans to people who were needy and did not have a lot of equity also taught me about kindness to others.
