The easiest way to reduce your risk of pesticide exposure is to buy organic produce and ingredients, and make sure to wash your food before you eat or prep it. This way a) you are getting little to no pesticide use on your produce and b) are washing whatever is on it to ensure that it is gone before you ingest it. When you know which food have higher pesticide use, such as the ‘dirty dozen’, you can stay away from normal produce on those and ensure you buy organic. You can also grow your own food!
