I eat lots of fruits and vegetables. They are part of my daily dietary intake. I find that organic fruits and vegetables spoil very quickly and are much more expensive in the stores. As I researched Pesticides and Produce I was surprised with certain fruits that had the highest levels of Pesticide Residue such as; Apples and pears. I did know that berries had very high levels of Pesticide Residue so I was not surprised about that. Also my son lived in Chile and told me that they use a lot of Pesticides on their fruits so I never purchase produce imported from Chile. One tip on how to reduce my exposure to pesticides is: wash fruits and vegetables before eating, if possible peel them as well.
