According to the Body and Health Canada website my basal metabolic rate (BMR) is: 1289 calories and my active metabolic rate (AMR) is: 1772 calories. This means on my active days I need around 1800 calories to sustain me. I have never counted my calories per day but I would say I would be around this or probably lower than this sometimes too.
