My caloric needs

I used the Mayo Clinic calculator and the result was that I need 1950 calories daily. The Best Health Magazine calculator says I need 1860 calories. Finally, the Body and Healthy calculator says I need 1863 calories. I would be more inclined to believe the two latter as they have an almost identical result.

I find it a little hard to believe that I actually NEED this amount. I think I may burn this amount, but I don’t necessarily need it. It seems a little high. Of course these amounts already do have exercise factored in. I would say 1300-1400 calories a day would be ideal for me on the days I do not exercise and around 1600-1800 on the days I do exercise.
