Lulling myself to sleep

I have the same bedtime routine every night. I crawl into bed at 9:30. I spray my pillowcase with lavender essential oil, put in my earplugs and read until my eyelids are heavy. Then I turn out the light, put on my eye blinders and go to sleep. I keep my room at 15C with a good quality duvet made of down that keeps me cozy and warm. I put on socks in winter to keep my feet warm. That’s it. I do the same thing every night and I sleep a good 8-9 hours straight through. The earplugs are essential so that I don’t hear my dog or my partner snoring! The blinders keep out the morning light so I do not wake up before 7 am. The lavender oil is relaxing when inhaled.
