I walked outdoors. My family and I love to walk together and try to do it as much as we can. We have a favourite local place to walk called ‘The Gravels”. It is a walking trail that is 7k roundtrip and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The trail has quite a lot of steep hills so it can be challenging to some. It has been our go-to spot that helped my husband lose 100 pounds.
Unfortunately it cannot be walked during the winter months, so I am trying to get in as much walking there as I can.
This winter I hope to try skiing for the first time. My oldest son started skiing last year as part of biathlon in cadets and we made the decision to all cross-country ski this year as a family. I’m pretty excited!
