I took the all three tests and scored from 1800 to 1850. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I don’t know much about caloric intake – but this is an interesting starting point for better managing my lifestyle so that I can be more healthy. One website suggested thinking of your calorie estimate as a starting point and adjust it up or down as you alter your activity level. I would like to know more about that – how much of a change in activity levels (and what kind of activity makes enough of a change?) for you to need extra calories. I wonder if I walk to work one day, how many more calories I should consume? When looking into the idea being mindful of what you eat, not only associated with calories, I came across the idea of mindful eating as both an ancient and modern practice of being fully present for what, when and how you are eating. Food is a blessing and a gift to be savoured and appreciated, particularly given that it is so easy to take it for granted. I think this would be a great way to manage healthy eating as well!
