My friends think I am crazy, but I tend to diet over the holidays. I hate to put on weight and try to exercise more, but if it is too cold, or icy or snowy, I stay in, so my alternative is to watch what I eat.
Over the holidays, I bought lots of fruit for desserts such as persimmons, mandarins, mangos and pommengranites. I also got healthy nuts and put out olives and hummus instead of pates and cheeses.
As for libation, I used a good quality sparkling water with some white wine and frozen grapes.

Three more things were taking the stairs, ice skating and doing indoor group classes. I did all of this as well.
I am happy to say I did not gain one pound!
