Name: The Canadian Mental Health Association - Quebec Division
Web site: http://www.acsm.qc.ca/

The Canadian Mental Health Association – Quebec Division is a non-profit organization dedicated primarily to promoting mental health and preventing mental health problems. Its mandate is to challenge all people from all backgrounds to be aware of how to protect and develop our psychological well-being, and to implement actions, tools, programs and policies to increase and maintain personal and collective well-being.

As part of the annual campaign “Take a Break, It’ll do You Good” to promote mental health, the Canadian Mental Health Association – Quebec division has initiated “Fête des voisins au travail” in Quebec. The aim is to encourage social events in the workplace in order to strengthen ties and solidarity between coworkers, and to help prevent professional isolation – often a fertile ground for mental health issues. Organized by the employee(s), employers, or both, “Fête des voisins au travail” is intended as a social gathering among colleagues, department members, industry colleagues or even business associates for breakfast, coffee, team sports, drinks, dinner etc.
