Eating large meals shortly before bedtime can be a source of discomfort and bad digestion which makes falling asleep harder. By eating light meals, bloating and other stomach aches can be avoided helping you have a better night’s sleep. If possible, avoid large meals at least 2 to 3 hours before bedtime. If the hunger persists, eat a light snack 45 minutes before bedtime at the latest.
