I took my time with this challenge because I wanted to be thorough.
Taking the opportunity of this challenge, I went through my son, daughter and my drawers and cupboards. Basically, I emptied all the clothes, sorted them and put them away (1) back in drawer/cupboard (2) Mosaic. I even went through a bag of clothes that was given to me for my daughter. That bag had been in the garage since the clothing are too big. Well, I was ruthless… 3/4 of clothes from that bag ended up in the Mosaic pile.
In all, I filled 2 large boxes and one plastic bag with clothes that I will be dropping off to the Mosaic in Lemoyne tomorrow.
I feel so much better: my kids drawers are organized (I can actually close some drawers easier) and I know that these clothes will get another chance.
In the past, when sorting through clothes, I usually had put aside the name brand clothing to sell them via consignment….NOT THIS TIME…everything went.
This past week and all the sorting/organizing I did certainly is a great way to kick Spring Cleaning. As a bonus: less clothes equals less laundry!
Thank you Ekodéfi for the motivation.
