This Christmas I wanted to keep things to a minimum. I decided to wrap with recycled brown paper and the newspaper that is delivered to my house each week. I made the gifts look beautiful with cut out birds from newspaper and twine and snowflake designs, again cut out from newspaper. The results were awesome. My friends and family loved my creativity and appreciated the environmentally friendly wrapping. I also used dead beaches and twigs from our tree to add to the decorations on the newspaper wrapping. I will never go back to conventional wrapping paper. It’s full of chemicals and can’t burn when we roast marshmallows on the fire, whereas newspaper is better to burn.
