GIV3 has a unique mission: to encourage more Canadians to be more giving. GIV3 does not represent any specific charity, but encourages Canadians to give to any registered charity of their choice.
In partnership with CanadaHelp and various other partners, GIV3 is the co-founder of GivingTuesday in Canada. GivingTuesday is a unique global movement for giving and volunteering that takes place each year after the consumerist madness of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The “opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time where charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. How? You simply search for a cause on the GivingTuesday website and make an online donation to one of the 85,000 registered charities across Canada. Although GivingTuesday activities take place on December 2, it is possible to donate throughout the year on the website.
