Send in Home Organization Tips

With chaotic schedules, family and work commitments, and so much going on in our lives, getting our living spaces organized is a great way to stay on top on things and feel a little saner. Being organizing doesn’t mean your home must look like something out of a Martha Stewart magazine (although that would be nice!); the goal is to make day-to-day life more functional.

Researchers at the Princeton University Neuroscience Institute published a study in The Journal of Neuroscience that found clutter has a negative affect on our ability to focus and limits the brain’s capacity to process information.

Staying organised isn’t something that magically happens; it takes time and a bit of effort. But such a commitment can make the difference between a harmonious and peaceful home to a chaotic and stressful one.

To qualify for ekopoints, do a quick Internet search and send in 2 tips on how to get more organized at home. If you have just undertaken an organization project in your home, we would love to see your photos!
