My mom and I recently decided to start building things for ourselves, and try our luck selling them. The local Farmers Market in town was never on my to-do list because we live out on a farm and have our own garden, so we had little reason to buy other peoples jams and zucchinis.
Once we started building things we realised that a Farmers Market doesn’t hold interest for us buying things, it could open a lot of doors for us as sellers!
We have now done 2 Markets together and as interest grows so does our inventory.
I know this is a “Shop at a Market” challenge, but for us the challenge was getting the courage to sell things instead!
We have fun doing this and even a $10 sale makes our whole week. We love making things and it’s nice to share our projects with the community.
