Close the light!!

I don’t know how many times I had to say this to my children as they were growing up. Sometimes they would remember and other times not, but one way I impressed upon them to remember was to show them the difference in our energy bill. Not substantial, but it could add up. Now, it is just my husband and I and we barely use any lights. No light is ever left on in an unused room and all my lights are LED which are more energy efficient than even the florescent ones. I’m sure there will be an invention soon to make something more efficient than LED’s and then, I will switch to that!
